• Repair Process

      • Diagnostics
        – To verify the customer’s concern we perform both an electronic diagnostics and a hydraulic diagnostics.
      • Electronic Diagnostics
        – This test is a computer controlled test by connecting a scanner to read the diagnostic trouble codes sent by the car’s internal computer.
      • Non-Electronic Diagnostics
        – This test is a computer controlled test by connecting a scanner to read the diagnostic trouble codes sent by the car’s internal computer.
    • Hydraulic Diagnostics
      – This test is conducted using an oil pressure gauge which under different load conditions will show discrepancies in the condition of your transmissions hydraulic system.
  • Repair Options

      • Adjustment
        – Many times the diagnostics will indicate only the need for an adjustment.
      • Minor Repairs
        – Some of the repairs may only require the replacement of the electronic solenoids which would normally take only a couple of hours.
    • Major Repairs
      • Unfortunately some transmission require major repair work that would require removal of the transmission, disassembly and parts replacement or rebuilding as necessary.
      • This obviously is the most costly of the repairs and we will gladly give you some maintenance tips that will help you prevent this type of repair in the future.
